New Stock Collection – Patina

Inspired by oxidisation and the effect it has on different surfaces, Newhey have developed this collection which will be manufactured at 4 metres wide with a heavy commercial specification, offering various on-trend colourways to suit a host of contract applications.

Available in 9 colourways ranging from the dark dramatic shades of Rioja and Raven to the more neutral Oatmeal and Sage, not forgetting Bronze, Denim and Amethyst which adds depth and colour.

Patina is supplied using Newhey’s unique recycled secondary backing material ‘evobac’ which is processed through one of the most environmentally friendly carpet backing lines in the world.

Newhey introduced ‘evobac’ in 2013, taking advantage of its proficiency in high speed tufting technology and combining this with friendly solvent free thermoplastic technology. The backing sets a benchmark in sustainability with it being produced from recycled PET post-consumer plastic bottles.

Newhey Carpets abide by a strict environmental policy, backed up with a seamless supply chain to ensure the highest degree of sustainability. As a result of implementing new production processes Newhey has reduced general waste to landfill by 50% as well as eliminating processed waste to landfill, as 100% is now recycled, including any waste pile yarns.
