Glasgow's most iconic hotel is back, with the guestrooms carpeted by Newhey.
In the heart of Glasgow stands the historic Grand Central Hotel. A much-loved icon in the city, the hotel has undergone a £20 million refurbishment transforming it into one of Glasgow's most superior, conference, banqueting and short break destinations and once again takes its place as Glasgow's leading four star hotel.
Working closely with Principal Hayley our design studio produced two bespoke patterns to suit the brief provided. Both designs include a combination of twist & velvet pile yarns which help to create a stunning textural effect.
Newhey produced over 5,500 square metres of Tufted Graphics carpet for the Standard and Executive Guestrooms, with the 186 bed hotel set to re-open this Autumn. Twist & Velvet continues to impress many of our customers. To learn more about this product and it's versatility click here.
