Newhey Carpets are regarded as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of Axminster & Colortec carpet for the Hotel, Licence & Leisure industries. A family owned and operated company we specialise in offering a complete carpeting solution to interior designers, architects, pub operators, hoteliers and flooring contractors. Our manufacturing capabilities include multi-width Axminster weaving offering widths of 0.69m, 0.91m, 2.06m & 3.66m. Together with the aid of electronic patterning technology this provides us with the ability to offer cost effective and practical solutions to areas both large and small. The latest addition to production is Colortec tufting technology. Colortec is the ultimate in patterned tufted carpet, capable of using up to 6 colours in almost any pattern imaginable. Complex patterns and designs, previously only achieved by weaving, are now possible on a tufting machine. Using the same pile yarns as our woven products, 80% Pure New Wool / 20% Nylon, Colortec has the ability to provide a durable and cost effective alternative to traditional woven products. To support our manufacturing capabilities we are able to offer a comprehensive in-house design service. Our experienced team of designers can offer a professional service working closely with clients to provide computer images and hand trials, generally within 48 hours, of selected design ideas. Standard design brochures are also available to illustrate and assist in the design selection process.
